Since our creation in 2000, the Long Island COmmunity Chest has been helping individuals and families on Long Island in need. People experiencing dramatic life alterning events with no where else to turn, have turned to the LICC for short term financial assistance to help get back on track.

Loing Island Community Chest recipients do not receive cash, instead our monies go directly to paying bills. It's a mortgage payment and utilities that keeps a family in their home, a car payment or repair to keep them at their job, or past due credit card debt that inhibits their ability to pay current bills.
