Wayne Norbitz was appointed to the Board of directors and became President and Chief Operating Office of Nathan's Famous, Inc. in November, 1989.

Trhough Mr. Norbitz's insight and leadership, Nathan's, a tradition for over 95 years has undergone an astonishing rebirth.

With a sense of urgency and commitment to excellence, Nathan's has realized accelerated growth by leveraging its highly-valued brand and implementing a points-of-distribution strategy throughout a broad spectrum of varied channels of distribution. today, Nathan's products are marketed and sold in over 45, 000 retial and food-service locations throughout the 50 U.S,. states and 6 foreign countries.

Prior to becoming President and Chief Opeating Office, Mr. Norbitz served as Nathan's Executive Vice President, Vice President of Operations, and Director of Operations. His career has spanned over 36 years at Nathan's.

Mr. Norbitz has proudly served as a member of the Board of Directors of teh American Heart Assocaition - Long Island region and in 2009 was honored as their voulunteer fo the year.

Mr. Norbitz currenly resides in Dix Hills, New York with this wife Jolaine, and two beautiful daughters Bryce and Annie.
